/api/v1/issuing/card/create

Issue a virtual card for an existing cardholder. The cardholder must be in ACTIVE status.

This call is accepted asynchronously. A PENDING status means the request was accepted; the final outcome is delivered as a card.activated or card.failed webhook. Do not tell your end user the card is ready until the webhook arrives.

cardLimit is the cumulative spending ceiling for the card — the total the card may ever spend. It is not a prepaid balance and not a per-transaction cap. Each authorisation must also be covered by your USD balance at the time it is made.

Errors: 400 for an unknown cardProductCode or a currency other than USD; 404 when cardholderNo does not exist or is not yours; 409 when the cardholder is not ACTIVE; 422 when the request is rejected downstream, with the reason in message.
